Swarthmore College is located on a suburban campus in Swarthmore, PA, about 30 minutes from Philadelphia and two hours from New York. It has around 1,500 undergraduate students, about 13% of whom are from other countries, and accepts approximately 24% of early-decision applicants and 8% of regular-decision applicants.
The SAT or ACT is required at Swarthmore for international students. Competitive scores* range from 1390 to 1530 on the SAT and from 31 to 35 on the ACT. Swarthmore does not require international students to take the TOEFL, but students can send their scores if they wish.
